A major tip coming here is you should definitely park in the residential area, parking on the street and feeding the meters will cost you 15 minutes a quarter, versus parking on a residential street and paying nothing.

I live here in Atwater Village and this is the place to get coffee, I'm embarrassed to say I don't always go here, I go to the dreaded Starbucks. That's only because of the convenience of parking at Starbucks, but no more I promise! From now on its supporting the local small businesses. For the locals this is a great stop by whenever you walk your dog and selection here is numerous, both in hot drinks and cold drinks, however you want to satisfy your caffeine fix, this is the place to come.

The only thing I really would like is a website for this place, there is a lot of different drinks they offer and seeing what they serve before you actually visit the place would be helpful. The inside is kinda small, but sitting outside is nice to, especially with LA weather.

The Lights Are Bright In Atwater Village

Today I noticed the new lights on my block. Wow it's bright! I don't know if the rest of Atwater is going to get new lights, but my block of Seneca just got brighter. The new lights don't cover all of Seneca, maybe about 40 percent of the entire street, but what a difference these lights make. The old lights were also on and you can tell the difference, the old lights are like a dim sad yellow color that lit up the night like a dying jack-o-lantern. The new lights however are truly illuminating, like giant flashlights that turn night into day. Seriously it lights up the streets like I have never seen before, I hope they do this to the rest of Atwater.

Hugo's Tacos

 

Average. Really nothing special here. Where is the meat in there steak burritos? It's so dry due to the abundance of rice and beans and the lack of meat and cheese and they call it a steak burrito? The hard shelled steak tacos are a little better and by all means get it as spicy as you can.

When you find a good burrito place, you'll know after a couple of bites wither or not your going to revisit that place or not, I don't think I'll be back here. It's not a complete loss for Atwater, Atwater already has a really good burrito spot in Tacos Villa Corona , which is right across the street from this place.
